Tooth Fairy

So my daughter lost her first tooth this past weekend.  It was so exciting for us and for her.  I ordered this cute tooth fairy pillow off of etsy.  It didn't come in time for the loosing of the tooth, but it just came today and it is adorable.  I can't wait to use it for the next tooth!!  You have to check out the etsy listings for these if you have a little one loosing teeth at home.  There is dozens and dozens of patterns.
It did take a long time to ship out (she did email me and said there was a family emergency), but it was so worth the wait.

Since we didn't have the pillow when my peanut lost her tooth, I did a few other funs things.  I searched Pinterest for tooth fairy ideas.   We gave her $5 which is a little high but for a first tooth I believe it was reasonable.  I covered the bill in glitter which made it extra tooth fairy fun!!!  I also gave her a new special toothbrush and toothpaste.  It was like Christmas morning.  I can't wait for the next one!!!

Amazing grout cleaner anyone?

This is my first blog.  I do so many fun things with my family and friends.  I just have to write about it and share.  You will have to excuse my grammar and spelling mistakes.  Grammar is not my forte.

Last night I tackled the grout in my main level bathroom.  Tonight I did the girls bathroom.  It turned out amazing!!! I am so happy with the outcome.  I have a new bathroom floor.  Here's the picture to prove the amazingness.

On the left in the picture is the clean area, and on the right is the dirty "disgusting" grout.  I can't believe my grout was this dirty.  The things you notice more when you are down on your hands and knees.  My OCD kicked into cleaning overdrive.

To make this simple grout cleaner you need two simple house hold ingredients and a old toothbrush.

-3 parts Baking Soda
-1 part Bleach

For my larger washroom I used 3/4 cup Bakingsoda to 1/4 cup bleach.  You have to make a paste like concoction.  Use your toothbrush to scrub on the paste, wait 10 mins after scrubing the paste on, then wipe off with a damp cloth.

The best thing about this grout cleaner, is that it keeps on cleaning!!  I woke up in the morning and had to put on my sunglasses the grout was gleaming.  The bleach keeps on working it's magic even after you are done all your scrubbing.

This was the gleaming aftershot!
